Hayes Sisters at Groove Pad Shipley

The Hayes Sisters are Cathryn, Angela and Jennifer who were brought up in a home where someone was always singing. They started singing in harmony themselves and showed a natural musical ability from a very young age. As teenagers they were making a name for themselves in local pubs and clubs, but as adults they pursued very different careers before getting back together musically, appearing at festivals and gigs across the North West.

At which point they were “discovered” by Clive Gregson, who took them under his wing, helping them produce their debut album Another Man’s Shoes, a collection of songs inspired by personal experiences and emotions.

The Hayes Sisters gel vocally as only sisters can. Very tasteful arrangements beautifully performed – Maartin Allcock (Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull)
