Details

In 2022, Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Platinum Jubilee, having reigned for 70 years. To celebrate this historic milestone, a bank holiday weekend from the 2nd to 5th of June 2022 was declared for four days of public events and community activities.

Find out about the proclamation and coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and her visits to the Bradford District. Come see our Jubilee displays in the Spinning and Weaving Galleries (1st floor) showcasing Coronation souvenirs and memorabilia from Bradford District Museums and Galleries’ collection. It also includes photographs from our Photo Archive of Coronation celebrations and Royal visits to the Bradford District by Queen Elizabeth II.
