In 2022, Queen Elizabeth II will have reigned for 70 years making it her Platinum Jubilee year. To celebrate this historic milestone, a bank holiday weekend from the 2nd to 5th of June 2022 was declared for four days of public events and community activities.
Find out about the proclamation and Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and her visits to Bradford District. Discover a link between Queen Elizabeth II and Cliffe Castle Museum through Keighley-born Bracewell Smith. Come see our Jubilee displays on the ground floor which showcase Coronation souvenirs and memorabilia from Bradford District Museums and Galleries’ collection. It also includes photographs from our Photo Archive of Coronation celebrations and visits to the Bradford District by Queen Elizabeth II.

Cliffe Castle lies in a park on the outskirts of Keighley off the A629 Skipton Road. Approximately 12-25 minutes walk from Keighley railway station, 6-15 minutes walk from the bus station.
Buses (for example Bradford to Skipton) pass the lower main gates. The 903 bus service operates from Keighley Bus Station and serves Cliffe Castle on a limited basis.
