Put on your bobble hat and scarf and brave the cold, go on a walk to recharge your batteries, take in the classic sights of the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley, and the Top Withens near Haworth, or find a new place to explore along the Millennium Way.  At this time of year, woodlands can be especially magical, from Judy Woods to Bingley's St. Ives Estate Country Park, where you'll find intriguing wood carvings and a lovely quiet space. A visit to our Green flag award parks are a great place to enjoy the fresh air, reconnect with nature, and to play. Discover 'art in the park' and the majestic Cartwright Hall in Lister Park, or visit the fascinating Cliffe Castle Museum and Park, which has a small woodland, play area, aviary, glass house, and water features!

Bingley Photo Walk Challenge

Bingley Walkers are Welcome and Bingley Camera Club have joined forces to hold a photo walk challenge competition that has been funded by Funded by West Yorkshire Local Authority CityConnect.  Why not try the fun photo clue walk around Bingley? This easy, self-guided walk is perfect for families. There are photographic clues to follow. Find the clues and solve the answer to a riddle.

Submit a photo taken on the walk there is a chance to win the monthly prize of £30 photo printing vouchers, with a £50 grand prize to the overall winner. The competition runs between August 2021 and February 2022.
